Pizza Lucé started in Minneapolis in 1993. I ate lunch there often around 1998 and 1999. Their website now lists nine locations across the state (including Duluth). I get delivery from the Uptown store often.
The photograph for this review is a Loaded Baked Potato pizza. Yes, mashed potatoes on pizza. It’s good, trust me. They also have a Garlic Mashed Potatoes pizza that’s pretty tasty as well.
Just like these pizzas, the Pizza Lucé menu has a variety of unique dishes and flavors. They also serve vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
They also have some of my favorite desserts, including tiramisu, chocolate cake, and Izzy’s ice cream (a local Minnesota company).
Overall, Pizza Lucé is an awesome choice for a night out. They have Sunday brunch, beer, and mimosas. Pizza Lucé is a Minneapolis staple, and if you can, try to visit the original store in downtown Minneapolis.
