Rain Johnson strikes again! I liked the core mystery a ton. The ensemble was well-cast, but the supporting characters were pretty underbaked. But the parts that work (which is most of it) REALLY work. It's both deeply religious and very tied to 2025, which is fascinating. It's also shot beautifully, as all of his work is. Brolin, O'Connor, Close, and (of course) Craig all hit absolute home runs.
